Armed Robbers Strike Gold Loan Office
Five armed robbers posing as auditors executed a heist at the Manappuram Gold Loan office located on Sheetla Mata Road on Saturday evening, making off with ₹9.5 lakh in cash, according to police reports.
The police further indicated that the staff at the office have yet to confirm whether any jewelry was also taken during the incident.
Sukhbir, the officer in charge at Sector Five police station, stated that efforts to apprehend the suspects are underway. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and have set up barricades at key intersections in the area to aid in their investigation.
A first information report (FIR) has been filed regarding the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
